This space, already crowded to bursting point with the essential junk that potters seem to need to make their stuff, is now being further abused with a jolley and the endless moulds required.

Bit of a slump in the studio.  So I end up playing with Nico’s dog Ruby more than doing any constructive work -

Things in the studio have reached a stage of hectic inertia – this is where you rush around accomplishing nothing.  I am slightly more expert at this than Nico, who is forced to stop at his desk and roll himself a cigarette every now and then.  But we make a good team – goading each other on to ever higher and higher levels of inactivity – Nico usually wins by going to sleep on the couch.

Took the planter out at about 950 and then tried to get the kiln up to 1120, but ran out of gas, patience and stupidity.
